How quoting works
- Send the details. The form, WhatsApp or a phone call all reach the same place. Photographs help more than anything else — they often let us price accurately without a visit at all.
- We come back with a price, or tell you what we need to see first. Where a site visit is genuinely required to quote, we say so rather than guessing high to cover ourselves.
- You approve before anything starts. No work begins on an unapproved number.
What helps us quote accurately
- Photographs of the problem, the unit, or the area involved.
- The make and model where equipment is involved — usually on a label on the indoor unit or tank.
- How long it has been happening, and whether anything has changed recently.
- Your area, which affects scheduling more than price.
- How urgent it is — genuinely urgent, or would next week be fine?
When we will tell you not to bother
Sometimes the honest answer is that the job is not worth doing, or not worth doing by us. A twelve-year-old unit with a failed compressor is usually a replacement rather than a repair. A specialist appliance is often better handled by its manufacturer’s agent. We would rather say that at the quoting stage than take the work and have you discover it afterwards.
